Ignite Your Networking to Discover & to Fulfill Your Dreams

On Saturday, October 8th, 2016, I gave a talk at GlenX Success Summit 2016 on the power of networking and how we can discover and fulfill our dreams through networking.

Thanks to the media team, you can view my presentation online here. My talk begins at 59:00 mark.

PS: Make sure to listen to amazing talk by Jim Calaway, about his donations to Colorado Mountain College and 16 other non-profit organizations as well as about the four big hits (i.e. successes) Jim had to have incredible success in business before becoming a major philanthropist. Talk about Jim Calaway and his talk begins at 1:28 mark.

Greater understanding and love of oneself to better understand and love others

Below is a letter I sent one year ago just before 2012.  For personal development reasons, I thought it may be useful for some of my readers who may stumble across my website.

My dear beloved brothers and sisters,

While reflecting on my own strengths and weaknesses, my core competencies and shortcomings, I noticed some very interesting things and also some interesting trends from where I was 5 or even 10 years ago.  It seems some of who I am has not changed a bit.  It also seems that I have improved in many areas while falling back in a few other areas.

It dawned upon me that I cannot be using this tool for my own personal development only.  These are amazing tools and you guys deserve to be using them for gaining better insight into learning who you are.  At the end of day, month, year, decade, or our life as a whole, only things that really matter are who are we, who were we, how did we treat others, and how much impact have we made in the world… was it positive; where there rooms for improvement; did we really give our best; have I enjoyed my life; and have I loved and created more enjoyable life for others…

The only way to truly understand and love others is to really gain better insight into who you are and to better love yourself.

I heard the above many times before, but I did not always truly understand this.  I am sort of slowly getting better insight into this, but I think this is 100% absolutely true.

In any case, without further dues, I can recommend you two tools that you can use on annual basis to review who you are and where you are.  Please let me know if you know other great tools.

All the best in 2012.  I wish you love, health, and prosperity in the new year.  May you achieve great things, may you also take the time to understand and love yourself and each and everyone you meet along the way.  Have a great and wonderful journey in 2012.

Reduce Gmail Inbox Size – Request to Remove Email Attachments

Today, I requested a new feature for Gmail.  This is the ability to strip or remove email attachments.

Doing so could prevent our inboxes from filling up or using heavy percentage of inbox capacity.  This could also be beneficial in freeing up Google servers.

Probably many of used to do the same in Outlook to manage our inbox size under control.  I used to strip out attachments in my emails to keep my mail size down.  Why not do the same in Gmail?

Maybe I am just being nostalgic or stuck in the past with my habits.  I am nowhere close to my full usage, but I do frequently get emails as large as 10-20MB.

How does everyone feel about this?

If you agree with my thoughts, please feel free to visit the new Google groups which I just created to request the feature from Google Labs.
